Guide to where you can watch live 2018 Midterm Election results

Interested in getting live coverage of the 2018 Midterm election? If you have cut the cord or don't have a TV at all there are plenty of good options to get up to date information.

The following broadcasters have free to view coverage for election coverage and you don't need an account with a cable, satellite or other provider:
  • ABC: starts 4:30pm ET on ABC News Live, with its televised Midterm Election Special airing at 8pm ET.  You can stream coverage online from ABC News Live, as well as the ABC News app on iPhone, Android, Windows, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV and other platforms. ABC will also be airing coverage on Facebook Watch.
  • CBS : starts at 5pm ET. Television coverage will begin at 9pm ET. You can watch on the CBSN site and the CBS News app.
  • CNN: starts at 5pm ET. CNN will offer a livestream at CNN.com, on the CNN app for Android and iPhone.  You can also grab CNNgo, apps for Apple TV, Roku, Amazon Fire, Chromecast, and Android TV - just do a search for CNNgo and the app name to find the app for your platform. Watch for free from 5pm ET on November 6 through to 9am ET on November 7.
  • C-SPAN: starts 8pm ET. You can watch for free on C-SPAN.org.
  • NBC: starts 7pm ET on NBCNews.comMSNBC.com, the NBC news app for iPhone and Android and the apps for Roku, Apple TV, and Amazon Fire TV. It will also be available on NBC’s FacebookTwitter, and YouTube channels.
  • PBS offers election night coverage beginning at 8pm. The PBS NewsHour special will stream on PBS’s Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube channels, as well as on UStream.
The following offer coverage but do require you to sign in with credentials from your cable, satellite or other TV provider:
  • FOX:  starts at 6pm ET. You’ll need to sign in with a cable, satellite or other TV provider to watch live coverage on FoxNews.com, the Fox News mobile app, or the Fox News app for Roku, Apple TV, Android TV, or Amazon Fire TV.
Alternative Sources
  • NPR One App- Starting at 8pm ET you can hear NPR’s live coverage of Election Night from your phone. Just hit play on the NPR One app and follow the instructions to “tap your screen to go to live coverage” after the newscasts.
  • FiveThirtyEight live coverage via their website - ongoing coverage.
